CATHOLIC CEREMONYThe funeral in the Church
We have always been used to accompany the mass with the most suitable liturgical pieces, it is something we have been doing for years both for weddings and funerals.
The Musical Concept
St. Augustine said that "he who sings well prays twice." Music and singing have always been linked to prayer. In the Bible it is often invited to sing to thank the Lord and numerous musical instruments are cited (from the horn to the harp, from the flute to the drum) that could be used to accompany the celebrations. Even today, music is a fundamental part of the celebrations of the Church, beginning with Mass.
But not everything can be sung and played. It is not enough that a melody or a song is beautiful or catchy to be performed during the Eucharist. The rule is that liturgical music makes "glory" to God and helps the faithful to enter into dialogue with the Lord.
First of all, it must be clear that the Mass is not a concert we are attending and does not applaud because the music is well performed. And, in fact, the performance of the songs is not reserved only for the choir or the soloists: during the celebration the pieces are sung by the people participating because everyone is called to pray with music, anyone who feels able to do so. The choir or the soloist, however, have a fundamental role in the Mass since they support in the songs who is present at the liturgy.
The Songs
If you entrust us with the task of setting the mass for your family to music, we will submit both to you and to the parish priest who will celebrate the rite a list of pieces, a multiple choice divided according to the various moments of the Catholic rite to allow you a careful and personal choice of the pieces from to execute.
Ma con OLTRE avevamo un desiderio, quello che ho maturato il giorno che ho perso mio PADRE
Desideravamo andare OLTRE a ciò che già c'è, pesare a un modo per celebrare anche chi non desidera un rito religioso, così nasce...
