The idea comes from the singer Stefano Cattini and from the guitarist and authorAndrea Solieri, both looking for a moment of entertainment thatwent beyond the pure musical moment, thus facingactually what the music is the exact onerefraction of a national and international historical moment.Lucio Battisti, with his undisputed popularity has been able to facedelicate themes that even before 1969 were censored, this decade has marked a breaking point and productionMogol-Battisti is the litmus test.
Structure
The show takes place in a single act of about 120 minutes. The artistic production produced byMogul-Baptists couple over the decade from the1969 to 1979.The chosen pieces are performed in the exact historical orderchronological in which they were conceived, year after year.Among the performances of the various pieces they are brought to lightcuriosities about the author's life, his way of beingand brief historical flashes are given to contextualizebetter texts and sounds. Only two are the songs thatbeyond this temporal classification: the passageopening (I recall, dated 1969, but it's not hisfirst success) and the closing piece (my free song1972).
Targets
The objective of the show is to reproduce the most famous pieces of the great Lucio Battisti sincewe firmly believe that these passages are closely linked to the memories and feelings of the Italians, regardless of their age.But this also wants to be an excuse to understand how much music is the mirror ofhistorical moment in which one lives and how much in turn can be able to convey the feelings and ideas of those who find themselves living that "time".
